As saddening and tragic it was to lose Dilla to lupus a few years back, it was more distressing to realize that most of the world would never recognize how much of a genius he was. It is probably with that thought in mind that his peers and admirers have been on a relentless campaign to keep his name alive.We're talking about shows, mixtapes, albums, t-shirts and everything in between. The Roots have collaborated on several occasions with the Dilla and have remained some of the most ardent ambassadors of his music.
