Hal Linton - Mind Control
Submitted by Fivefold on Fri, 04/16/2010 - 22:21Barbados is slowly becoming a breeding ground for intriguing and palatable pop talent. Joining the ranks of Rihanna, Shontelle and up-and-comer Jaicko is Hal Linton. After conquering the local scene, this Bajan crooner moved to NY to pursue his dream and give a shot at the big time. A Universal Motown artist since late 2008, it seems Hal has finally convinced the label to start building the buzz and put some muscle behind the project. "Mind Control" is the first single off his upcoming major debut, Return From The Future. Intriguing is the appropriate word here and I definitely wanna hear more Hal, so will you. Enjoy!
Jaicko - Oh Yeah (Remix)
Submitted by Fivefold on Tue, 08/11/2009 - 19:13When I think about Barbados, I think about calypso. But Barbados is also making its mark on the world pop scene with the likes of Rihanna (and, to a lesser degree, her friend Shontelle). Right now, there's a new kid on the block that's eager to carry the torch. "Oh Yeah" is the lead single to Jaicko's forthcoming debut, Can I. It's got the cosign of Bigg Snoop Dogg, who jumped on for a remix
All-4-One - My Child
Submitted by Fivefold on Wed, 08/05/2009 - 21:18Man, I had not heard of All-4-One for over a decade it seems. And now I hear they're trying a comeback. Much has changed since the days of "I Swear" and "I Can Love You Like That", but personally I'm rooting for them. Their new album, No Regrets, should be out September 15. The first single is called "My Child". Do peep!
Slaughterhouse - Onslaught 2

Their record label (Koch) would have a hard time keeping the anticipation at the frenzy level it is if they weren't keeping us salivating with bits and pieces like this.

Day26 - Imma Put It On Her
Submitted by Fivefold on Thu, 03/12/2009 - 20:56Diddy has taken Twitter by storm and, now as P Twitty, has promised a resurgence of the Bad Boy mid-90's dominance. His first card is Day26 -- you can peep their new single. It might not be fair to call them the new 112, but the comparison is hard to escape. And if Yung Joc is the new Mase, where's the new Biggie? (Blasphemy?)
